The dog didn't like being jumped over, so he stood up and started to chase the fox. The fox knew that the lazy dog would quickly give up the chase and return to his nap. To irritate the slow dog, the nimble fox ran in circles around the stumbling pooch. After the chase had persisted for several minutes, the dog gave up and resumed his nap in the shade of a colossal oak tree. However, the fox wasn't done having fun at the poor dog's expense. Stealthily sneaking behind the dog, the fox nipped at the dog's long tail before scampering away. The dog was most displeased; knowing that he couldn't catch the fox himself, he went to find his master. The master responded to his dog's frenzied barks by grabbing his long rifle from beside the door and loading his pockets with gunpowder and lead balls. What happened next is up to you to decide for yourself.
